Durabuilt Homes, LLC has positions now open for full-time employment.  Durabuilt is looking for experienced, hard-working individuals with good work ethics for our modular construction facility in Selinsgrove.  We prefer for you to have some experience, can read a tape measure, be familiar with print reading, and be able to do simple calculations as needed for your job.  We offer weekdays (Monday through Friday), 8-hour shifts, full-time hours; some Saturday shifts may apply depending on production schedules.  If you have the experience we are looking for, we would like for you to join our team.

 


 

Floor Builders / Framers

  • Must work well with others as a team and be able to take direction to accomplish goals.
  • Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use for functional operation.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work, according to engineered drawings, using tape measures, straightedges or squares, and marking devices.
  • Read engineered drawings or other specifications to determine methods of installation, work procedures, or material or tool requirements.
  • Review engineered drawings or specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Lay floor sheathing onto floor assembly.
  • Fit and fasten heating into position on wood or metal frameworks, using glue, nails, or screws.
  • Set floors or walls in place onto the carrier using a hoist.
  • Attach wheels to floor assembly and position assembly onto the production line.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs

 

 


 

Wall Building / Wall Set

  • Must work well with others as a team and be able to take direction to accomplish goals.
  • Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use for functional operation.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work, according to engineered drawings, using tape measures, straightedges or squares, and marking devices.
  • Read engineered drawings or other specifications to determine methods of installation, work procedures, or material or tool requirements.
  • Review engineered drawings or specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Lay wall studs and drywall onto the wall jig to form the wall assembly.
  • Fit and fasten drywall into position on wood or metal frameworks, using glue, nails, or screws.
  • Set walls in place onto the floor assembly using a hoist.
  • Build Frame Wall.
  • Install drywall.
  • Install backers for electrical and blocking for handrails.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
  • Ability to read prints and read a tape measure.
  • Set staircases.
  • Install tubs.

 

 


 

Plumbers

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks.  New construction and light commercial job experience area a plus.  You must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail.

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings and the specifications to determine requirements for installation of plumbing components.
  • Read and understand engineered drawings.
  • Read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to operate power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to endure heights.
  • Teamwork.
  • Washer & dryer preparation.
  • Install all Pex, DWV, and copper piping.
  • Install refrigerator boxes.
  • Install vanity tops, counter tops, sinks, faucets, and toilets.

 

 


 

Electricians

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings and the specifications to determine requirements for installation of electrical components.
  • Assemble electrical systems and install components.
  • Run electrical wires to electrical components
  • Install lights and test components.
  • Read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to operate power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to endure heights.

  • Prepare wiring for inter-modular connectors.
  • Install device boxes, ceiling boxes, exhaust fans, and panel boxes.

 

 


 

Mudding / Finishing

  • Proven experience as a construction worker.
  • Knowledge of cutting, hanging, taping, mudding, and finishing drywall.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination.
  • Put compound over screw holes.
  • Apple tape to joints.
  • Apply corner bead.
  • Ability to work while walking with stilts.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces.

 

 


 

Roofers

  • Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use for functional operation.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work, according to engineering drawings, using tape measures, straightedges or squares, and marking devices.
  • Read engineered drawings or other specifications to determine methods of installation, work procedures, or material or tool requirements.
  • Review engineered drawings or specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment: pick up all tools and equipment.
  • Secure work site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Insulate.
  • Apply roof sheathing.
  • Install ice/water shield/weather guard.
  • Install shingles.
  • Install top flips & overhangs.

 

 


 

Ship Loose Component Builder

 

  • Ability to read and interpret component blueprints.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math accurately.
  • Able to operate power tools and nail guns.
  • Background in framing a must.
  • Cut all components for ceiling and ship loose components.
  • Cut components for top flips & overhangs.

 

 


 

Maintenance

Durabuilt is seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to help maintain the appearance, general care, and maintenance of the grounds and facility.

  • Maintain all plant equipment to ensure safe, continual, and efficient operation.
  • Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance is accomplished according to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager's direction.
  • Comply with all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
  • Upkeep ground (mowing, trimming, winter snow and ice removal).

 

 


 

Fork Lift Operator

 

  • Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Inspect forklift daily for general maintenance.
  • Communicate with area leaders to form a material list of things needed.
  • Unload trucks and put materials into staging areas.
  • Safely deliver materials to work areas.
  • Load parts carriers or materials onto trailers.
